Snow White Story
Once upon a time, in a far-off kingdom, there was a kind and beautiful queen who longed for a child of her own. One winter day, while sitting by the window, she pricked her finger with her needle, and three drops of blood fell on the snow outside. The sight of the red drops against the white snow sparked an idea in her head."If only I had a daughter as white as snow, as red as blood, and as black as the wood of the window frame," she said to herself. Some time later, the queen gave birth to a baby girl with skin as white as snow, hair as black as ebony, and lips as red as blood. She named the little princess "Snow White."Sadly, the queen passed away when Snow White was just a young child, and her father the king remarried a vain and wicked woman who was jealously envious of Snow Whites beauty. One day, when the queen asked her magic mirror who the fairest of them all was, the mirror replied that Snow White was indeed the fairest. Consumed by anger and jealousy, the queen ordered a huntsman to take Snow White into the enshrouded woods and kill her.The huntsman couldnt bring himself to kill Snow White, and instead left her in the woods. The little girl wandered through the forest, frightened and alone until she came across the home of seven dwarves. The dwarves took her in, and Snow White remained with them hiding from the evil queen, who found out that Snow White was still alive and set out to find and kill the young princess herself. But the queens plan failed. Snow White ate a poisoned apple that had been offered to her by the disguised queen herself, and fell into a deep sleep. The dwarves believed her to be dead and built a glass coffin for her, placing it on a high cliff. One day, a prince passed by and fell in love with Snow White, vowing to take her away from the cruel fate that had befallen her. As the coffin was being transported to the princes castle, the jostling shook the apple out of Snow Whites throat, reviving her.In the end, Snow White and the prince were wed in a grand ceremony, and lived happily ever after. The evil queen, however, met a just end for her wicked deeds.
